Cobb Area residents have the unique opportunity to experience the four seasons with relatively mild weather in a gorgeous alpine environment. Cobb Mountain is often likened to the Tahoe area but with milder temperatures and a lower elevation. Spring and Summer bring bright blue clear, unpolluted skies. Autumn, the glorious reds and golds of the deciduous trees tucked in with an abundance of evergreens followed by Winter which powders the mountain with the occasional dusting of snow. |

Once a well known resort area Cobb Mountain is still a favourite getaway for many Bay Area residents and with close vicinity to Clearlake, Calfornia's largest natural lake and the beautiful Blue Lakes, water sports, fishing and boating are a favorite past time. Cobb is also home to two golf courses and Bogg's State Forest which offers residents a wonderful hiking and biking playground.
Cobb Village is located on Highway 175, 2 -1/2 hours north of San Francisco, 35 minutes from the Napa Valley Wine County and an hour from Santa Rosa. The village has several restaurants, a gas station, several motels, a grocery store, a deli, coffee shop, book store and a garden shop.
