Cobb Mountain Real Estate was established in 1980 by Ernie Taylor, a long time Cobb Mountain resident, contractor and golfer!  Ernie built an excellent reputation and in December of 2005 he sold his business to Susie Cashmore.  

Being a business owner for over 20 years, Susie embraced Cobb Mountain Real Estate with gusto and in the months that followed she remodelled the office, developed a new logo, updated the escrow department and expanded the marketing to include a strong emphasis on the internet.  However, she still retained Ernie's good ol' reputation by keeping the office small and personal with honest and ethical business practices.

In her first year as owner of Cobb Mountain Real Estate, sales exceeded 11 million dollars in a very difficult market that had declined considerably since the boom years that finally peaked in 2005. 

Cobb Mountain Real Estate works with buyers and sellers throughout all of Lake County and sometimes in surrounding counties however, we love to work on the 'Mountain' and in the South Lake County area.  We have an indepth knowlege of the local market and keep abreast of the ever changing market conditions.

With the decline from the peak years Susie and her team have still retained an excellent market share as an independent real estate office.  2007 & 2008  have offered many opportunities to help locals understand the declining real estate market and to negotiate with property owners and banks on short sales and foreclosure properties.

Susie Cashmore is a naturalized American having immigrated from New Zealand in 1995.  Having travelled throughout the world and through the USA and Canada she finally settled in California in 1997.   With over 20 years experience as a business owner she really enjoys the challenge of being a realtor and also broker of Cobb Mountain Real Estate.   She loves the alpine lifestyle of Cobb Mountain and also enjoys it's proximity to Napa & Sonoma Counties.  Being highly service orientated she looks forward to helping you next time you need to buy or sell a property in lovely Lake County!

Arturo Carvajal: Susie's husband and very low profile co-owner who we could not do without!  Born in Chile, he moved to Canada in the 1970's then to the USA.   Arturo can  translate if you have Spanish speaking friends or family who need help buying or selling a home.

Pablo (yorky/shitzu) & Chi Chi (silky terrier) are our doggy mascots they are totally adorable, Pablo welcomes everyone into our office and little Princess Chi Chi is in training!
