Cobb Mountain Real Estate was established 27 years by Ernie Taylor, a long time Cobb Mountain resident and contractor who built an excellent reputation for Cobb Mountain Real Estate in Lake County for 25 years.                 

In January 2006 Ernie sold Cobb Mountian Real Estate to Susie Cashmore a naturalized American immigrating from New Zealand 12 years ago.  Being a business owner for over 20 years, Susie embraced Cobb Mountain Real Estate with gusto and in the months that followed she remodelled the office giving it a whole new look, developed a new logo, updated the escrow department and expanded the marketing to include a strong emphasis on the internet.

In her first year as owner of Cobb Mountain Real Estate, sales exceeded 11 million dollars in a very difficult market that had declined considerably since the boom years that finally peaked in 2005.

Adrienne Asher joins Susie as the other working agent in the office, and she thinks being a real estate agent in the tiny mountain community of Cobb is a very relaxing way to make a living. Sue Montez, our transaction co-ordinator who works diligently to ensure that not one initial is missed from any peice of paper that crosses her desk!  

Arturo Carvajal, Susie's husband and very low profile co-owner who we could not do without!  He can also translate if you have spanish speaking friends or family who need help buying or selling a home.

Pablo, our mascot - a minature yorkshire terrier who loves to welcome everyone into our office!
