I recommend the services of Susie Cashmore and Cobb Mountain Real Estate for anyone considering a purchase or sale in the Lake County area. I had been looking around for a retirement/vacation home for several years, and met a number of decent and competent realtors in my search, but my recently completed transaction with Susie was the one where I finally found an agent with both the technical competence and personal concern that helped me to find just the right house and expertly guide me through the paperwork and regulations that come with financing and purchasing a property. She helped me to fully understand all the important aspects of the property I was considering, then negotiate a good price, and constantly up-dated me on the problems and progress that led to closing what I see as a heck of a good deal. Since I live in another state, I was initially concerned about being so far from the property during the closing came up, gave me background info on the options, and let me make my own decisions. The business is called Cobb Mountain Real Estate, but her knowleperiod, but I did not have to constantly check on the transaction and ask her to do this or that. She communicated reliably and regularly as items dge and network of municipal services, contractors, and other real estate professionals was spot on for my purchase in Nice, way at the other end of Clear Lake. It feels like I am a kid again and it is Christmas Eve! My nerves are finally calming down and I am excited to become a part of the Cobb community. It is hard to believe that I called originally interested in the 600 sq. ft. Brookside home in the forest  and ended up in a 2200 sq. ft. home on a Golf course. My name is Alan Tate I met Susie in July when I was driving through the Cobb Mountain area and just loved it.  When I met Susie she was very helpful and very professional and as we were looking for my new home she was very willing to help me look at any house I was interested in. During the time of purchasing my new home I was in a very bad motorcycle accident, she was very helpful and would bring all of the documents and paper work to where I was living at the time. She always kept me informed as to what was going on during the whole time of the purchase. It was great to have her return every call that I made to her in a timely fashion. There were about four weeks where I was unable to walk so Susie had the escrow extended to close to the point where I was on my feet some what. I felt that Susie was always looking out for my best interests during the whole transaction.  She had a handyman and a cleaning lady ready to do any work that was needed and her husband was also willing to help me move some things when I moved into the house.
